Belle Bete

Belle Bete Perfume by Liquides Imaginaires, Intoxicating and sensual, Belle Bete is an aromatic oriental fragrance that fuses beguiling animalic musk accords with tones of leather, wood and spice. The scent opens with herbal and earthy floral notes, mingling iris, licorice-tinged clary sage and saffron with pimento, hazelnut and hints of tart-sweet rhubarb. Precious woods and softly bitter gourmand tones emerge at the heart, blending bush-sweet patchouli, vetiver, atlas cedar and velvet-soft cashmeran with nuances of coffee, almonds and coumarin. Provocative yet delicate animalic notes of castoreum, civet and costus interfuse with ambrette and sensuous suede to produce a mesmerizing and magnetic finish that lingers lightly on the skin.

This unisex scent was designed by perfumer Carine Bouin and first released by the French fragrance house Liquides Imaginaires in 2016. The composition belongs to the Les Eaux de Peau Collection, which also includes the woody oriental scent Peau de Bete. This luxury label was founded by Philippe Di Meo and Davis Frossard.
